Description: | Dean Coleman is rapidly gaining worldwide attention for his production and his DJ sets. He recently played for Deep Dish's Global Underground 25 Release party in NYC, at club Cielo, where the roaring crowd wouldn't let him leave the decks. Dropping exclusive edits, his own material and classics, Dean's style pulls together his ten years of DJ experience into his own sound. Dean started his production career with a remix of Pete Heller's 'Big Love' back in 1998.
Although his mix was unreleased it brought him acclaim from some of the UK's biggest DJs and radio shows. Soon after Dean followed up with releases on Defected, Deep Touch, Ovum, Yoshitoshi and others. In the fall of 2002, Dean's Remix of Narcotic Thrust 'Safe From Harm' went #1 on the Billboard chart. Performing around the world for the last several years, Dean has won acclaim for his DJ sets. He was recognized in this year's URB Magazine as one of the TOP 100 artists to watch. This summer Dean will make his festival debut at Global Gathering in the UK followed by his July appearance with Roger Sanchez in Ibiza.
This summer's release schedule is his biggest one yet, including remixes for Harry Choo Choo Romero, Brother Brown, Julie McKnight, and his original release 'Kontact' on Yoshitoshi, which is featured on the new Global Underground 25, mixed by Deep Dish. |
