Description:Ottawa Canada's favourite genre blending masters, LOVENBODYPARTS was conceived in the spring of 1997, when singer and guitar player Radji Millette met studio engineer Sean Hart and they hatched a plan to manifest their own blend of rock and electronica.

Both having influences such as Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Nine Inch Nails, LOVENBODYPARTS refined their sound to include heavy guitars, hard electronic beats, and smooth vocals. In a live setting, their music took on a life of its own. The boys found themselves blending their beats into the dancers and meeting the energy of the crowd with an ever-evolving style of music unlike anything ever heard. They quickly realized they were on to something. Since that first live performance, Sean and Radji dedicated themselves to perfecting their sound both in studio and on stage, displaying their exalting live set to packed houses across the capital. The band progressed year after year, their popularity and influence spreading across mainstream rock clubs to the deepest underground raves.

Since the release of their CD Flex in June 2002, LNBP has been playing shows from Montreal to Toronto drawing ever-increasing crowds, thus establishing a strong fan-base in their local venues as well as spreading a contagious vibe across the nation. The EP-length Flex features five original tunes, including two remixes crafted and contributed by local legend DJ Brad Copeland and Andrew Matsubara (DJ K).

Later that year, LNBP expanded to include multifaceted percussionist Phil Mailey, and originative, in-your-face MC ProfSE (Samuel Enright). The new members have brought a fresh vibe and dynamic to the already pioneering sound of LOVENBODYPARTS. The rising hype of the band propelled them into every hip bar and club in Ottawa, such as Babylon, Barrymore's, and Surface Nightclub to name but a few - earning them an invite to headline on New Year's Eve at the classy Mercury Lounge, as well as a coveted set alongside Juno nominee Buck65 at Zaphod's for the 2002 Juno Awards, not to mention the constantly packed shows at other popular venues.

The growing fan-base helped the boys place first in the preliminary and semi-final rounds of the Emergenza International Band Competition, which took place in over forty countries. In addition to their success in the first two rounds, MC ProfSE was presented with the Ottawa Best Singer Award in the finals, beating out over sixty five others vying for the title. They finished in second place over all. To top it off, one of LOVENBODYPARTS' singles was chosen among more than 350 submissions for the 2003 Converse / Best of Emergenza 2003 Compilation, of which 5000 copies were released at the Canadian and European finals. They were the only finalist from Ottawa to receive this honour.

Their mounting success has strewn their name across the pages of local newspapers such as the Ottawa Sun, the Ottawa Citizen, and inner-city magazines the Xpress, Onaversal, and Mirror Magazine. Furthermore, the band was asked to perform on The New RO's Breakfast Television show, and had their songs circulated on local radio stations XFM, and CHUO.

Following the direction the band has been taking from the start, LOVENBODYPARTS plans to jump borders and expose the world to their innovative music. Included in their numerous successes, LNBP has toured alongside international recording artists Emil Bulls (Universal Music, Germany), and Zen (High Tuned Records, Italy), who have performed with such bands as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Linkin Park.

In the last year LNBP's style has evolved in such a way that it cannot possibly be categorized into any one genre, thus holding true to the original course set out at its conception. LOVENBODYPARTS is a genuinely unique group that appeals to a wide variety of music aficionados; this is reflected in the steadfast dedication of an appreciative audience that has grown larger with every show.
