Curriculum As a forerunner of the psychedelic trance movement in the south of France, L’Elf started his career in 1992 and created the “Magic Tribe” which enabled him to organize many underground parties. He got noticed for “Eléolite Management” which eventually became “International Epsilon Agency” at the same time as he was putting his efforts to promote trance music. In 1995 he left Epsylon and got into Monolithe records, of which he became the psychedelic trance section DJ. In 1997, he became the head of the label’s artistic department, took part in the first productions, and published the first EP, titled Phase One. In 1998, he produced Phase 2, his second EP, of which he made a RMX for the famous Israeli label Krembo records. He participated in the biggest trance events, organized many of them and performed worldwide the sound of UTP, his live project shared with TIT. In 2OOO he created the Turbo Trance record company, made the Neuromotor and Hyper Frequencies acts known. Then he decided to found the “Turbo Team”, and he invited many internationally renowned DJs to take part in the project. TIT from UTP soon joined in , followed by Psyside, a famous Parisian live act. The team quickly integrated Walhalla, that had been published on numerous trance labels such as Moon Spirit records, Sub Machine records, Ketuh etc. and Stella Nutella, a Swedish DJ, renowned internationally. In 2002, Triptych, who was no else than Charles from Walhalla, signed an exclusive artist contract with Turbo Trance and made up the BPK project together with L’Elf. At the same time, L’Elf hired the Mumbo Jumbo British project in his label, which is made up of Bilbo Bagginz aka Cosmosis, a pioneer artist from Transient records, one of the most prestigious Trance label, and of DJ Kuma, a London based DJ from the same label. Besides his musical career, L’Elf is currently writing reviews on electronic music for magazines such as Tech’Yo, of which he is the chief editor of the Trance section. Today l’Elf is acclaimed as a foremost Trance Psychelic DJ in the world and is representing France and his label within this movement. Public appearances with Dave Clarke, Carl Cox, The Orb, Luke Slater, Laurent Garnier, José Padilla, Gig d’Agostino, Jeff Mills, Jack de Marseille, Claudio Fabiani, Damon Wild, Manu le Malin, Darren Price, The Advent, Total Eclipse, Nomad, Talamasca, Anti, Son Kite, S-Range, Etnica, Jorg, Shiva Chandra, Jaïa, Infected Mushroom, Oforia, Juno Reactor, Mark Allen, Tsuyoshy Suzuki and many others… |
