thier fierce embrace could not be broken
the love they felt was just so strong
given to eachother in faith as a token
of the feelings they shared for oh so long
the two together became one
each completing and complimenting the other
bringing to life a future sun
one to become father, one to become mother
they felt such passion, experienced pain
they fought and learned from thier mistakes
and they know conflict will come again
but thier love will survive all heartaches
everything about her he knows and respects
and she tolerates his habits and loves him
they both speak freely looking back to reflect
upon the choices they made based on a whim
they would do it all over again
given the oppertunity to do it all once more
not even in memory would they change a thing
and they're happy they were both given this door
an entrance into a wonderful life
a portal to happiness from somewhere quite wild
a handsome young husband and beautiful wife
make a fantastic family someday blessed with child
going through life with a time trusted friend
someday a boy or maybe a girl
knowing that none of this will ever end
they walk hand in hand out into the world.
