PARENTS NEED TO BE VIGILANT IN WORLD OF DRUGS

Yes, the drug trade is alive and well in our communities. Until the
problem hits us face on, we don't much concern ourselves. That's
human nature.

There is much controversy regarding legalizing marijuana. How can the
government even conceive this?

People well versed in treating abuse and addiction issues specify
that it is indeed a 'gateway' drug.

Some users are lucky; others not so.

Drug use can and will lead them and their loved ones into a Hell
deeper than many of us can imagine.

Heroin, cocaine and crack abuse are flourishing in today's society.
These heinous drugs do their damnedest to destroy. They strip one of
ideals, home, family and integrity -- all that the fabric of society
is based on.

Mothers and fathers, look around you. Be vigilant. Educate yourselves
and your children on this growing menace in our society.

It could happen to your child. I know ; it happened to mine.
