WHAT ADVICE COMES WITH RELAXATION OF CANNABIS LAW?

SIR - We have all become experts at spotting those who have had too much to
drink, but how can we spot those who have been using cannabis? Surely
before David Blunkett relaxes the laws on the use of cannabis, he should
tell us what advice the Health and Safety Executive is going to give
employers on how they should assess whether and employee is or is not under
the influence of cannabis.

How long would it take someone who has taken this drug to recover
sufficiently to carry out any safety critical activity? How are the police
going to assess that a driver is or is not under the influence of this
so-called soft drug and what limits are they going to set?
