SANCTUARY POLITICS CRIMINAL

I'M puzzled why Mark Leno has proposed that San Francisco become a sanctuary
for the cultivation, use and distribution of medical marijuana ("Hallinan's
pot shots at feds," The Examiner, Nov. 6).

With Terence Hallinan as district attorney, this city is already a sanctuary
for all drugs.

As for Hallinan's statement that "everyone here is living in fear," well,
with Terence "I Never Met a Criminal I Wanted to Prosecute" Hallinan as
D.A., no criminal in San Francisco is living in fear.
