DRUG WAR'S SIDE EFFECTS
Bravo to R.B. Tuttle for his thoughtful letter to The Bee, "One war at a
time" (Nov. 10). Unless someone can figure out how to nullify the immutable
laws of supply and demand, the counterproductive war on drugs will remain
counterproductive. Our drug war is financing organized crime at home and
international terrorists abroad.
