ADDICTS DESERVE THEIR LOT

I weary of the bleeding hearts and do-gooders who try to elicit sympathy
for those who have voluntarily become addicts ("The new heroin," The
Examiner, Nov. 16).

That behavior was a matter of choice. At the risk of sounding callous, I
have no sympathy whatever for them.

If more of the walking dead die because they stick a needle in their body
and fill it with poison, that is the natural result of their life choice.
Spend your time, effort and money on someone who deserves to be helped.
