THOUGHTFUL EDITORIAL
Kudos to The Courier-Journal for its thoughtful editorial, "Ashcroft's
intrusion," Nov. 8. If Attorney General John Ashcroft has his way, the
federal government will not only dictate to the American people what we may
or may not put into our own bodies via the drug prohibition laws, our
federal government will dictate to us when and how we shall die.
I am sure glad the Republicans champion personal freedom.
