TAKING POT SHOTS

Editor -- Like a joint in the dark, the controversy over medicinal
marijuana flares and dims, apparently at the whims of whoever the current
attorney general or drug czar is. Once again the fearsome feds are pleasing
conservatives by attacking toking.

Dare I call them "token hits"?

The justice squads squash the spirit of liberty when they aim to terrorize
with their pot shots merciful doctors and us who have cancer. The federal
anti-marijuana laws must be rethought. As they stand, they are a bum drag.
