ACTION ON DRUG PROBLEM APPLAUDED

Kudos to Mayor Philip Owen, the Vancouver/Richmond health board and all
those involved in addressing the drug problems in our city. It is very bold
of Mr. Owen to follow through on recommendations that may not make him very
popular in many quarters. I feel encouraged at the actions being taken on a
very overwhelming issue and feel proud of our leaders for getting involved
at street level. Thanks also to The Vancouver Sun for keeping us informed.
