THREE ARRESTED IN CANNABIS PROTEST
THREE patrons of Britain's first Dutch-style coffee house were arrested
yesterday during a pro-cannabis demonstration.
The men were arrested after 40 people marched from the Dutch Experience
cafe in Stockport, Greater Manchester, to the local police station. The
protest, Laugh at the Law, called for the legalisation of cannabis. The
cafe owner, Colin Davies, was remanded in custody after a raid on the
premises last week.
