JUDGE GRAY HAS IT WRONG

With all due respect to Judge James P. Gray, I must disagree with his
Nov. 30 Orange Grove promoting the legalization of drugs ["Follow the
money"]. What is sad is that he is using the tragic events of Sept. 11
to promote his misguided ideas.

The root cause of the drug problem can be traced to a failure of the
family unit. We need to place a stronger focus on early education of
our children on the long-term effects of drug use. Suggesting that we
make it easier to obtain drugs is unconscionable.
