DANGERS OF METH HAVEN'T BEEN CLEARER

I read, with great interest, the series of articles by Laura Bauer Menner
in the Dec. 9 News-Leader, citing the dangers of methamphetamine. Ms.
Menner's descriptions of meth's tremendously addictive qualities, the need
for awareness and an account of a family's suffering when a member is
caught by the "meth monster" were the best descriptions of meth's dangers
of any I have read in any periodical.

I only hope that every reader takes to heart the warnings that were listed;
that meth is so dangerous that you should never, ever try it. Use of meth
must be interrupted as soon as it is detected and even then it may be too
late to save them.

Meth is like no other drug we have ever encountered, by several magnitudes.
It may well be safer to be exposed to anthrax spore than to methamphetamine.

Well done Laura Bauer Menner and the News-Leader.
