WHAT'S WRONG WITH POT?

President Bush and his administration have come out and said if you do
drugs you're helping the terrorists.

Is our CIA a terrorist organization? From the Golden Triangle, they moved
heroin during the Vietnam War. In the 1970s, they were moving cocaine out
of South and Central America. And I believe this administration, along with
the CIA, is again moving heroin out of Afghanistan.

Simply put, our government deals drugs, gets you addicted, then when you
get caught puts you in prison.

I wish politicians would not use the term "drugs" to include marijuana. In
fact it is a mild euphoriant. The term "narcotic" describes a drug or
poison that reduces sensibility by depressing brain function, which can
cause death by stopping respiration.

Because marijuana has none of these effects, its legal classification as a
narcotic is without basis. With every country moving in that direction,
don't you think it's time we legalized marijuana?
