ARRESTED COPS CAST CLOUD OVER ALL POLICE

I am responding to the article, "Four officers arrested in drug
probe," in the Dec. 13 News & Record. It just makes me think and
wonder, "Who can we trust?"

As a high school student, I would think that police officers were the
main ones we should look up to. They're supposed to protect and
serve, but instead of stopping crimes, they are committing them. I
know that people are innocent until proved otherwise, but I can't
help wonder why the FBI would take such an interest in these officers
if they didn't have something to go on.

We look for role models in our community. So please tell me, how do
we know who's the good cop and who's the bad cop?
