IS HEROIN GOING TO CONTINUE TO FLOW OVER THE BORDERS?
Is heroin going to continue to flow over the borders of the newly liberated
Afghanistan? We just spent hundreds of millions of dollars to "liberate"
that country from people who financed their fanatical regime with proceeds
from heroin manufacture and distribution.
Your friendly neighborhood distributor of crack, cocaine, heroin and other
illegal drugs that lead to debilitation, desperation and occasionally death
in this country, are being fueled by farmers in Afghanistan. Why hasn't
your neighborhood drug dealer been classified as a terrorist by the bush
administration for his modest part in ruining the lives of otherwise
responsible and sometimes intelligent people?
We've dropped ordnance of all types from b-52s on that vast country for
weeks. We've been looking for miscreants, fugitives and fanatics, but has
anybody laid down the law about poppy farmers and the heroin processors?
Not to my knowledge.
Part of American ordnance was a giant bomb called a daisy cutter. Do we get
to go back in the spring and drop "poppy cutters" or do the b-52s get to
become giant crop dusters?
