THE DRUG ISSUE: VIEWS DIFFER ON DRUG LAW IDEAS

The Langley Advance News continues to be deluged by letters from all sides
of the drug issue.

WAR CORRUPT

Dear Editor:

Get with it Langley. Canada and the U.S. have a prohibition problem. . .
not a drug problem.

It is obvious that DEAland's corrupt drug war drives the corrupt drug
policy of many countries around the world, including Canada, whose corrupt
leaders like to pretend that it is sovereign and independent with regard to
its corrupt drug policy.

Maybe the corrupt politicians and media are required to adhere to the party
line of prohibition because law enforcement, customs, the prison and
military industrial complex, the drug testing industry, the "drug
treatment" industry, the INS, the CIA, the FBI, the DEA, the politicians
themselves et al. can't live without the budget justification, not to
mention the invisible profits, bribery, corruption and forfeiture benefits
that prohibition affords them.
