SHEETROCK 'DRUG' SCANDAL DEMANDS RESPONSE
It is amazing to me that we can all now raise the flag of patriotism, claim
to subscribe to the tenets on which this nation was founded, proclaim a
kinship to our Founding Fathers and not be unabashedly ashamed of the
conduct of our police department.
Beyond all issues our mayoral candidates are facing, our fundamental rights
as citizens have been horrendously violated at the very core of the system
of government designated to serve and protect. We should all be outraged!
Innocent people have been sentenced and prosecuted without due process!
Corruption has been discovered, and our leading officials are turning a
blind eye, even the ones running for office are turning their heads as if
it never happened, leaving it to the very system which paid for the
informant to govern itself.
I was all set to vote for my candidate for mayor. I think I'll wait to see
how our candidates handle the issue of the Chief Terrell Bolton's
department falsely arresting people, and how the mayoral candidates plan to
deal with a city police force obviously out of control.
