METH LABS LIKE OLD WHISKEY STILLS:

All these stories of the methamphetamine labs in rural areas remind me of
the bootleg liquor stills of another era. It's much the same: easy to make,
requires common materials and apparatus, serves the black market, and both
have been caused by the stupidity inherent in Prohibition. The "drug war"
is America's worst drug problem.
