WHAT ABOUT POISON IVY?

Connie Pheifer tries to put down Donald Lyons' short letter on Jan. 21
about God making marijuana.

She notes that "God also makes poison ivy, earthquakes, hurricanes and
tornadoes. God also makes brains to be used, not abused."

I would like to inform Ms Pheifer that the natural phenomenon (earthquakes,
etc.) she mentions have nothing to do with plants.

Also, one of the greatest abuses of a brain is to be put in prison. Another
terrible abuse of the brain is to be placed in the mental straight-jacket
of only being "permitted" one state of mind.

Many good folks enjoy the healthful qualities and enjoyable effects of
plants and plant extracts.

By the way Ms Pheifer, not everyone is allergic to poison ivy.
