TOUGH SITUATION

The arrest of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's daughter for fraudulently
obtaining prescription drugs makes me angry. It comes on the same day
that state drastically cut funds for drug treatment.

What of the Florida people in prison now for the same offense? Jeb
Bush and the president have both been among the nation's most fervent
zero-tolerance reactionaries. Will there be zero tolerance for Bush's
daughter?

The Bush family has a remarkable amount of drug and alcohol problems
but no corresponding prison problems such as plain folks would face.
