END DRUG WAR
Congratulations to Nolan Finley for wanting to change a policy that
has not worked, will not work and cannot work ("Trio's ballot measure
would restructure war on illicit drugs," Jan. 20).
Our drug policies were perhaps started with good intentions. However,
they have been perpetuated by the people, industries and institutions
with a vested financial interest in maintaining the status quo.
