DOCS PONDER POT BYLAW
The province's doctors could find it easier to prescribe medical marijuana
if their governing body changes its regulations this week.
The council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta will
decide at its Friday meeting in Edmonton whether to change a bylaw that
currently forces doctors to go through an application process to prescribe
the drug.
"We're trying to make it conform to the national regulations," said Dr. Bob
Burns, the college's new registrar.
