I join letter writer Eric Myrholm in commending our local police force for
its efforts in apprehending marijuana growers and marijuana-impaired drivers.

Yet, over the past year, writers from distant locations (New Jersey,
Washington, D.C., California, Winnipeg and Oakville) have graced your
Opinion pages, extolling the virtues of illegal drugs.

Has Abbotsford become a key target for proponents of the drug culture from
within and outside the province?

Hopefully, our civic leaders and citizens will continue to resist the
facilitation of illegal drug use in our community.
