ADDICTS GET SUPPORT, FAMILIES PAY THE PRICE

I am getting sick and tired with the amount of help, support and media
attention that "recovering" drug addicts are receiving in the papers of late.

How about some help, support and programs for those of us directly affected
by drug abuse?

Two years ago my life and the life of my five-year-old daughter changed
forever with the discovery that my ex-husband had been using cocaine. I
lost everything, my house which I owned, my car and my job due to his drug
addiction. Where is my community help and support?

It is time we took a long look at who actually deserves the help and support.
