TRYING TO KEEP DRUG JOBS
Regarding Buford C. Terrell's Feb. 8 Outlook article, "The true villain in
our drug war is prohibition": Terrell ignored the real reason for the
continuing idiocy about drug laws. Thousands are on federal, state, county
and city payrolls to enforce these inane policies. The people directing the
anti-drug agencies understandably support prohibition in order to keep
their jobs.
