TIME AND RESOURCES

The people of McDonald County should be proud that their Sheriff's
Department has the time, resources and conviction to root out the purveyors
of drug paraphernalia and shut them down! Because "everyone knows what
these things are being used for." Pipes, rolling papers and water pipes
have been taken off the market and the shop owner is soon to be charged
with "possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute."

I for one will certainly rest easier knowing that these items have been
taken off the market. Oh, by the way, how are their efforts proceeding to
locate and shut down meth labs? You know, the ones where they keep finding
fully automatic weapons? We all have our priorities I guess. Personally,
I'd sooner encourage people to smoke a little pot and fall asleep rather
than cook a batch of meth and play with machine guns.
