BALANCE THE BUDGET
To the editor:
How to balance the budget and pay for the war on terrorism:
Declare victory in the war we are currently losing (the war on drugs) and
pardon all prisoners who are serving time for nothing more than possession.
This might even result in a surplus. It would also free up thousands of
corrections workers who could better serve us all as anti-terrorist personnel.
