RISK IS DUE DIRECTLY TO PROHIBITION

The Campbell River Mirror is guilty of false reporting (Editorial:
Protect Kids From Grow-Ops, March 16, 2007), by stating children have
"increased risk of violence due to home invasions and rip-offs,"
related to cannabis grow-ops.

The risk is due directly to prohibition in the same way alcohol
created dangerous environments during the original prohibition.
Citizens will continue growing the God-given plant cannabis (kaneh
bosm / marijuana) with or with out the sequel to prohibition;
regulation ends every problem police want media to parrot to
perpetuate their money tree. Further, re-legalizing cannabis is past
due; even Canada's 2002, Senate Committee on Illegal Drugs'
unanimously recommended to regulate cannabis the same way as alcohol.
So what's the truth, Campbell River Mirror?
