OWNERS, PNP WORD WAR ESCALATES OVER SAN JUAN MUSEUM

THE elderly couple whose house was raided last month can still be
included in the criminal charges that the police will file.

Atty. Vicente Cuna, legal counsel of Yu Kim Chuy, 87, a businessman,
said Narcom director Efren Fernandez has implied this during their
meeting sometime last week at the Narcom office in Camp Crame.

Yua's house was being rented out to several Chinese nationals when
police raided and seized the property for concealing a shabu
manufacturing lab.

"During our last meeting, he (Fernandez) was making it appear that
Mr. Yu is included in the charges and they might file charges against
my client", Cuna said in a phone interview.

He said that he went to the Narcom office to ask authorities to turn
over the Yu property located at 93 Araullo corner Montessori Streets,
Barangay Addition Hills, San Juan to the couple.

"They have no choice and they have no right to commandeer the
private properties of my clients", the lawyer said, reiterating
their intention of filing charges before a trial court if the National
Police hierarchy refuses to do so.

Narcom, according to the couple, has turned the house into a museum,
with photos, and shabu equipment displayed inside the house.

Cuna added that the Fernandez also denied that he made a statement
that the shabu lab raided by his men has been operating for 10 years.
