TWO SONS OF REGGAE LEGEND MARLEY ARRESTED ON POT CHARGES

Two sons of the late reggae star Bob Marley were arrested in north Florida
and charged with marijuana possession.

Julian Marley, 26, and Stephen Marley, 29, were each charged Wednesday with
possessing less than 20 grams of marijuana, which is a misdemeanor.

They were booked into the Gadsden County Jail in Quincy, paid $500 bail
each and were released.

The brothers, who live in Miami, were in a car stopped for speeding on
Interstate 10 just west of Tallahassee by the Florida Highway Patrol.

A trooper said he smelled pot, and said one of the brothers, Stephen, later
admitted he'd been smoking marijuana.

The Highway Patrol said a search turned up four marijuana cigarettes in
Julian Marley's jacket and three more under the front passenger seat.

The brothers are reggae musicians. Their father, an icon of the Jamaican
music style, died of cancer in 1981 at age 36.
