DRUGS DEN TO BE SEALED OFF
MAGISTRATES have agreed to close down a second drugs den in Wrexham.
The doors of the property on Caia Park will be sealed for three
months after magistrates granted a closure order under the
Anti-social Behaviour Act.
The closure was granted on Thursday after an application by North
Wales Police, supported by Wrexham Council.
Wrexham magistrates said they were satisfied the flat in question was
associated with the supply and use of class A drugs, and with
anti-social behaviour.
The closure comes just weeks after another Caia Park flat was sealed
in similar circumstances under the police's Operation Quantity, aimed
at tackling the supply of drugs in the area.
Both flats are now closed up, and it is an offence for anyone to
enter either property.
