LEGAL OR NOT
I liked your comment "People will use tobacco whether it is legal or not."
(Letters, Jan. 27.) This statement is true and the reality we all face.
People will also use pot, cocaine, heroin, etc. whether it is legal or not.
This is reality as well. It is time to end drug prohibition in all its
forms and institute a tax system so that at least some money goes back to
society -- not unlike tobacco and alcohol taxes.
