MEXICO: LAWYER TIED TO TRAFFICKERS IS KILLED

A lawyer linked to the drug traffickers Benjamin and Ramon Arellano
Felix has been found shot to death in what may be the start of a turf
war resulting from Benjamin's arrest last weekend, the police said.
Rodolfo Carrillo Barragan, 59, was found late Monday in a stairwell
of his apartment building in Tijuana. He had been shot in the head.
Mexican authorities arrested Benjamin Arellano Felix on Saturday in a
raid on a house in Puebla, south of Mexico City. He acknowledged that
his brother Ramon, the gang's enforcer, was killed in a shootout on
Feb. 10. (Reuters)
