EDITORIAL: OUR PICK
The Drug Abuse Resistance Education, or DARE program, held its graduation
earlier this week.
The program works with middle school students, teaching them to say no to
drugs.
It has been in place in Summerland for two years.
We believe programs such as this one are important for the community.
If we can keep our youth from harmful behaviors, they will not be plagued
with substance abuse issues later in life.
