NEXT, WE HAVE YET ANOTHER ENTRY FOR THE "STUPID CROOKS" FILE

Seems a woman in Vancouver, Wash., went to a court hearing to try to get
her boyfriend, who had been accused of failing to pay fines, out of jail.
She was trying to explain that she had sent in a payment for him, when she
removed her hand from her pocket to gesticulate.

At that moment, what pops out of her pocket? Why, a little plastic bag of
methamphetamine. One witness said the defendant just "covered his face with
his hands and shook his head."

I can't say I blame him. With friends like that...

Having said that though, I can't help but have a sinking feeling. Here's
what bothers me:

If all lawbreakers were that dumb, the only law enforcement problem we'd
have would be jail overcrowding, because they'd all be caught.

Makes me wonder how many crooks are lurking out there, who aren't stupid.
