DRUG REHAB IS FOR SENIORS, TOO

In regard to a recent letter by Jerry Jenkins stating that his tax
dollars shouldn't be spent on drug rehab, what makes him think it's
all children?

Statistics show that a large majority of those addicted to drugs are
elderly, because of overmedicating by their doctors.

And who pays for the jails, if not the taxpayers? The answer to
helping people who are sick is treatment, not jail time. Drug
addiction is a disease, both mentally and physically. The problem is,
there isn't enough help for them.

I applaud Gov. Jeb Bush and all his efforts.
