ACADEMY HELPED ADDICTED DAUGHTER

Editor:

If you are a parent, I hope you never have to watch your adolescent spiral
out of control from drug addiction. Or face the day when you realize that
if you don't take drastic action, she will never see her next birthday.

One year ago, I had to face the reality. She had been to three different
hospitals. I was out of options.

Alldredge Academy saved my daughter's life. She spent four months at
Alldredge Academy and is now attending boarding school.

She is once again the bright, enthusiastic daughter I once had, making
plans for the future. My heart is filled with hope.

Alldredge is not a program where you drop your kid off and hope they get
fixed. Alldredge requires intense family participation. By the end of the
family workshops, I felt I not only knew my daughter better, but also I
felt a closeness to the other students, their parents and staff.

If it weren't for the dedicated caring staff at Alldredge, I'm afraid to
think where my daughter might be today.
