TOGETHER AGAINST DRUGS

Regarding the March 5 letter "Drug problem," our law enforcement officers
would love to arrest every drug dealer in this county today, but
unfortunately it takes more resources than they have available. It also
takes community action-that means everyone getting out from in front of our
television sets and doing something to help.

Let me suggest getting out there and cruising known drug areas, calling in
suspicious activity, or organizing a group to patrol the areas in question.
These things worked 5 years ago with the Concerned Youth of Bay County and
other concerned citizens, and they will work again.
