A PLACE FOR MEDICAL MARIJUANA
Phil Hicks, with all due respect, have you suffered from pain and loss of
strength caused by cancer ["Encouraging drug use," Opinion, March 25; "Jury
backs Prop. 215," Opinion, March 20]? Have you dealt with the pain of
vomiting caused from eating after undergoing chemotherapy? Have you
suffered from spinal injuries causing you great pain and found that medical
marijuana can alleviate your pain? I think not. Poison to you may be a
god-send for me. If you don't believe in a system that allows its citizens
to vote and pass laws, then I believe you should look elsewhere. Do not
speak of what you don't understand.
