CHECK TEACHERS TOO

I am amazed at the school's decision to suspend Chris Laurin because his
jacket allegedly smelled like dope. I was also surprised to learn these are
"routine" checks conducted by the board.

If the principal can delegate where the searches are to take place do they
also have the teachers' lounges, cloakrooms or teachers' cars checked as
well? How about the custodial staff areas or rooms only the custodians have
access to?

If this was the case chances are they might be stopping some of the flow of
drugs into the school. After all, just because they are teachers or adults
it does not put them above the students morally. I support Chris and his
family with the lawsuit and wish them luck.
