DOPE-SNIFFING DOGS

It would seem to me that in light of some of the questionable decisions
made by the school boards lately, the dope-sniffing dogs are putting their
noses in the wrong place.

The faculty facilities should be the next target for zero-tolerance drug
policies. I can imagine the hue and cry from the teachers' unions about the
teachers' rights being violated if they were subjected to the same searches
as the students. They don't even want to have teachers tested for their
competency.

Wait a minute! Could that be the reason some teachers don't want to be
tested? Good grief, what next? Nicotine-sniffing dogs in the malls?
