POT CASE A WITCH HUNT
In your article about Dennis Peron, you quoted 5th District Judge Robert T.
Braithwaite, who said, "California's medical marijuana law was irrelevant
in Utah."
Irrelevant? The Utah code that names marijuana was written in 1957 and
still says today ". . . without a doctor's prescription." It doesn't say
"Utah doctor" in the code. This would seem to me to make their medical
marijuana quite relevant to the case.
This case will draw much needed national attention to the valid use of
marijuana as medicine and to Utah's outdated prohibitionist mentalities.
The "Word of Wisdom" inquisition will come to a bad end.
Inquisitions and witch hunts always do.
