CHANGE DRUG POLICIES
Thanks for publishing retired Deputy Police Chief J. Michael Jones'
outstanding op-ed: "Drugs should be legalized, con-trolled" in the
March 22Taos News.
I suggest the readers go towww.youtube.com and search for "Law
Enforcement Against Prohibition" (L.E.A.P.) and view some of their
short vid-eos. If you like what you see and hear, con-tact L.E.A.P. by
e-mail at info@leap.cc and arrange for one of their speakers to give
an informative and entertaining talk about our nation's current and
past drug poli-cies to any organization or group.
Some will arrive at the L.E.A.P. talk skeptical, but most will leave
convinced - convinced that it's time to make major changes to our
nation's drug policies
