WHEN AMERICANS BUY GAS, THEY SUPPORT TERRORISM

I have seen the barrage of televised public service announcements from the
White House policy-makers that position drug users as supporters of terror.

But don't Americans, the greatest worldwide consumers of foreign oil,
support terror every time we fill our gas tanks?

Our greatest Arabic ally in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, is not only one
of the biggest suppliers of our foreign crude. Among its populace are the
biggest contributors to groups branded terrorist organizations by the
United States.

It's also the country of origin of Osama bin Laden.

The Bush administration has targeted the already-marginalized and vilified
drug users of America as supporters of terrorism (certainly an easier task
than actually trying to help free them from the horrors of addiction).

Somehow, though, the money passed along to terrorist groups through foreign
oil profits have been forgotten.

It is important to remember that every gas- and oil-consuming American
supports terrorism every time he or she fills up.
