PUBLIC HOUSING EVICTIONS RULING NOT FAIR OR LOGICAL
Regarding the Supreme Court's ruling upholding the government's right
to evict persons in public housing whose friends or relatives have
used drugs: Surely fairness demands that a similar penalty be given to
those who do not live in public housing. Perhaps their homes should be
confiscated (since they might have been used in drug trafficking) and
the proceeds used to fight the war on drugs.
Logic and fairness seem to be in short supply on the Supreme
Court.
