OPIUM FIELDS FOREVER?

Where is the outrage on our government's stand concerning the opium fields
in Afghanistan? If our "war on drugs" is a legitimate operation, why is our
government so reluctant to destroy the opium fields that are almost ready
for harvest?

We have the means of stopping tons of opium from flooding the illegal drug
market, yet our leaders seem content in allowing this supply to reach our
neighborhoods and citizens. America, you need to wake up and ask more of
your government and its policies.
