NO EXCEPTIONS
William Raspberry's April 1 column, " 'One Strike' rule has its place if
used judiciously" was a great piece of American commentary.
Sure a few innocent grandmothers will be kicked to curb, as Raspberry
readily concedes, but surely some faith-based folks will take granny in for
a few days until she gets her traveling legs back. We can't allow
exceptions to our tough drug laws or the help will be able to get pot as
easy as we get Scotch.
